Example Drone Survey

What should you be looking for when you instruct somebody to use a drone to inspect your roof?

This is an example of a UAV survey conducted by Commercial Property Surveys Ltd.

It demonstrates the quality of the video footage and also shows use of an optical zoom lens.

The key to a good drone survey, in addition to the skills of the pilot, is understanding what is happening on the roof and forĀ  this, qualified advice is always best.

Members of our building surveying team are also qualified and CAA Approved UAV (Unmanned Aerial Vehicle) pilots and of course, we carry the necessary drone insurance, complete with Professional Indemnity insurance, over and above the policy that is already in place for our surveying practice.

When attending site to conduct a drone survey, our team will identify themselves to site staff and neighbouring property owners or tenants, to explain what we are doing on site.

An initial on-site risk assessment will be carried out and the drone flight will be notified to the relevant authorities via a mobile application.

Your drone survey will be completed with the utmost consideration to health and safety and all regulations will be followed.

Not all drone pilots are insured, not all pilots are building surveying surveyors.

If you receive a cheaper quotation than us, please don't ask why we are expensive. Instead, ask the other pilots why they are so cheap - there is usually a very good reason.

If you would like a quotation for a drone survey, anywhere in the UK, please call us on 0121 711 7110 and speak directly to one of our pilot surveyors.
